Changing the 2020 Nissan Altima Cabin Air Filter: An Easy Guide

Hello, I wanted to show you how to remove the cabin filter for the 2020 Altima. I didn’t find any videos on YouTube about this, so I’m going to give you a quick and easy do-it-yourself guide.

First, you’ll need to remove the glove box. It’s not complicated at all. When the glove box is in its closed position, you’ll see three bolts/screws on the top and two on the bottom. Additionally, there are clips on the sides holding the glove box in place.

After removing the bolts and clips, you’ll be able to pull out the glove box. Above the blower, you’ll find the cabin filter. There’s a white piece that needs to be slid, and a lever to be pushed to the middle in order to remove the filter. Once you wiggle it out, you can replace it with a new filter.

That’s all it takes! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. This guide is specifically for the 2020 Altima. I found information for the 2019 model, but it’s located in a different spot. I hope this helps. Thank you!
