Welcome to another Ross Perry Productions video. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the fluid top-up locations for a 2021 Toyota Corolla. Let’s get started!
To access the engine bay, open the driver’s door, pull the lever in the footwell, and then open the bonnet using the lever above the Toyota badge at the front of the car. Once the bonnet is secured, you can locate the various fluid top-up points.
Here are the main fluid top-up locations in the 2021 Toyota Corolla:
- Windscreen washer fluid: Easily accessible and can be checked using the dipstick. It’s recommended to use a dedicated windscreen washer fluid solution.
- Coolant: Check that the coolant level is between the minimum and maximum marks. Use the specific coolant recommended for your car.
- Engine oil: Use the dipstick to ensure the oil level is between the designated marks. Top up the oil using the oil cap, making sure not to overfill.
- Power steering: The 2021 Toyota Corolla has electronic power steering, eliminating the need for a power steering reservoir.
- Brake fluid: Check that the brake fluid is at the designated maximum level. Use DOT 3 brake fluid and ensure the cap is sealed properly.
It’s essential to use the recommended fluids and follow the guidelines for each fluid to ensure the proper functioning of your vehicle.
