Welcome back to the Shocker Racing Garage! Today, we’re continuing our Oracle tail light series by installing a set of Oracle flush LED tail lights on a two-door JK. These new lights are a game-changer, offering a sleek and modern look while solving clearance issues.
Greg, the owner of the JK, had been running X bright tail lights, which were good but caused clearance problems when he upgraded to a larger tire. The Oracle flush mount lights were the perfect solution, offering a slimmer design that provided the necessary clearance for the tire carrier.
Inside the box, we found the lights, instructions, decals, foam gaskets, and the necessary hardware for installation. The first step was mounting the resistors using the provided brackets and screws. Then, we removed the old tail lights, disconnected the harness, and prepared for the installation of the new lights.
After some adjustments and mounting the resistors securely, we installed the new Oracle flush LED tail lights. The difference in size and fitment was remarkable, providing a much sleeker and compact appearance compared to the old lights.
