Once the air ducts are removed, we also have to take out the air filter box by unscrewing with an 8 millimeter socket and disconnecting the mass air flow sensor. After that, there are two more 10 millimeter screws to be removed to gain access to the vehicle speed sensor.
Once all the necessary components are removed, the vehicle speed sensor can be located. It is positioned next to the axle, so it may also be accessed by raising the car and removing the wheel to reach it from the bottom.
After locating the sensor, disconnect the connector and remove the 10 millimeter screw holding it in place. This will allow you to take out the old sensor and replace it with a new one. Once the new sensor is installed, you can put everything back together, and you’ll be good to go.
