If you’ve ever wondered how to get a light show onto your USB for your Tesla, you’re in the right place. In this blog post, I’m going to explain the process in a simple and easy-to-understand way, so you can add any light show sound to your USB and have a blast. Let’s dive right in!
First things first, you’ll need your hard drive and a PC. Instead of running all the memory on the PC, I’ve put everything on the backup drive. I have about 50 shows on the backup drive, and I’m going to show you where to get these files from and how to use them.
Step 1: Getting the Light Show Files
There are two websites where you can get the light show files – Tesla Lightshare.io and the Tesla Light Show Repository. You can find the links in the description for easy access.
Once you’ve located the desired light show, simply download the files to your PC.
Step 2: Organizing the Files
Open your browser and go to your favorites where you have the Tesla Light Show website. Create a new folder on your hard drive and move the downloaded light show files into it. Don’t forget to credit the creator of the light show by including their information in the folder.
Step 3: Preparing the USB Drive
Now, you need to format the USB drive to ensure it works with the Tesla. Follow the steps to format the drive to FAT32 and then transfer the light show folder onto the USB drive.
Troubleshooting and Modifications
If you encounter issues with the downloaded files or need to modify them, you can easily rename the files to ensure they work seamlessly with your Tesla.
Enjoy the Light Show!
Once everything is set up, unplug the USB drive, insert it into your Tesla, and enjoy the mesmerizing light show. Remember, the car will need to read it as FAT32, so make sure you follow the formatting instructions correctly.
I hope this guide has been helpful in understanding how to get and use light shows for your Tesla. With these simple steps, you can have hours of fun with your very own light shows. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Thanks for reading!
