In this millennial review, we will demonstrate the process of performing an oil change on a 2016 Nissan Sentra. The procedure and specifications we will cover are applicable to all US models of the Sentra from 2013 to the present.

In addition to the oil and filter, you will need basic tools such as a 14-millimeter socket or box wrench, a ratchet, and adjustable pliers. Having a jack or jack stands to lift the car is essential for accessing the underside of the vehicle.
Oil Change Procedure
The first step is to locate the hood release inside the car and then access the engine compartment to check the oil level and locate the oil drain plug and filter. It is essential to loosen the oil fill cap before draining the oil to facilitate smooth draining.
After properly securing the car, the next steps involve removing the drain plug to drain the old oil, replacing the oil filter, and then refilling with the specified amount of new oil.
