Step-By-Step Guide to 2016 Honda Pilot Oil Reset: Simple Procedures Explained

Hello viewers, Rick here at Rick’s automotive. In this video, I’m going to show you how to reset the oil life percentage on a 2016 Honda Pilot.

First, ensure that your key fob is in the car. Then, simply press the engine start button twice to turn on the gauge cluster display.

Using the steering wheel controls, navigate to the oil life or maintenance light display. The controls typically consist of an arrow up, arrow down, and a reset button. If the display is not showing the oil life or maintenance light, use the arrow buttons to search through the display.

Once you locate the oil life display, hold down the reset button for about 10 seconds. After a short moment, the display should show “maintenance reset” with the options to cancel or reset. Use the arrow buttons to select “reset” and then press the reset button to confirm the reset.

That’s it! The oil life percentage on your 2016 Honda Pilot has been successfully reset.

Thank you for watching!
