Welcome to Programming Your Mom! Today, we’re going to walk you through the process of changing the cabin filter in a Ford 2020 F-150. It’s a simple task that requires only a seven millimeter socket to get started.
First, open the glove box and pull down the latch on the side to drop it down. Then, remove the rubber piece and the exposed seven millimeter bolts. Gently pull off the glove box to access the cabin filter door.
To open the filter door, simply hook your fingers onto the clips on either side and pull them towards you. This will expose the cabin filter, allowing you to replace it with a new one.
When reassembling, install the new filter, snap everything back into place, and make sure to reconnect the glove box light. Finally, secure the glove box back in place, and you’re all set!
