Welcome back to He Can Fix Anything! Today, I’m going to show you how to reset the maintenance required light on a Honda Odyssey.
This reset process is applicable to model years of the Honda Odyssey from 2010 to around 2016 or 2017. The particular one I’m working on is the 2012 model.
First, turn on the key but don’t start the engine. Everything will light up, and you will notice the maintenance required light flashing if the service date has passed. To reset it, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the trip button for about 10 seconds until the flashing stops.
- Press and hold it down one more time for about five seconds until the information center resets completely.
That’s it! Now you have successfully reset the maintenance required light on your Honda Odyssey. Remember to do this every time you change the oil, as many shops may not do it for you. See you next time!
