Welcome to the video today we’re going to take a quick look at how to reset the oil life on a 2022 Honda Civic.
We’re going to be using the buttons on the left-hand side of the steering wheel. The first thing we’re going to do is press the home button, and that’s going to take us to the screen. Then we’re going to use the button next to it, which is like a little Rollerball, to scroll down until we have maintenance highlighted, then press that button in.
Now it shows us the oil life percentage. Once we’re on that screen, we’re going to press and hold that button down, that little Rollerball. This takes about five to ten seconds. Once this screen pops up, you can let go and then use that button to scroll down until all items due is highlighted, and then press that button in.
Then, as you can see there, the reset is complete.

To reset the oil life on a 2022 Honda Civic, follow these steps: 1. Press the home button on the left hand side of the steering wheel to access the screen. 2. Use the button next to it, which is like a little Rollerball, to scroll down and highlight ‘maintenance’. 3. Press the Rollerball button to enter the maintenance menu. 4. Once in the maintenance menu, locate the oil life percentage and press and hold the Rollerball button for about five to ten seconds. 5. When the screen changes, release the button and use it to scroll down until ‘all items due’ is highlighted. 6. Press the button to confirm. The oil life reset is complete.
