If you’ve been following our channel, you know that we’ve been focusing on refreshing the cabin of our Tesla Model 3. For those who purchased a used Tesla Model 3 or Y from 2018 to 2019, wireless charging was not included, and a plug had to be installed for charging. Subsequently, Tesla introduced a wireless charging pad for the Model 3 and Y in 2020. In late 2020 or early 2021, the center console underwent a redesign, making it difficult to swap out the charging pad.
To modernize the charging station, we found a charging pad from Jawa that also serves as a memory card for sentry mode and dash cam recordings.
