Welcome to How to Automotive! Today, I’ll be demonstrating how to reset the maintenance light on a 2017 and newer Honda CRV with the EEEX Package. This package includes the upgraded infotainment center. Follow these simple steps to reset the maintenance light.
To begin, make sure your foot is off the brake and push the start/stop button twice to power up all the dash lights and infotainment system.
Next, navigate to the infotainment center and select “Home.” Then, go to “Settings” and choose “Vehicle.” Scroll down to find the “Maintenance” option and select it.
Within the maintenance menu, you’ll have the option to reset various maintenance items. Choose “All Items” and select “Reset” for the oil maintenance information. Confirm the reset, and the maintenance light will be set to 100%.
To verify the reset, use the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate to the information screen, where you should see the maintenance percentage at 100%. Congratulations, you have successfully reset the maintenance light on your Honda CRV!
