First, go ahead and use a pry tool or a trim tool to pop the tabs and remove the fender-mounted tab. After that, grab the cover and pull it out from behind the grill. Work your way over, pull it out, and then separate it from the other side. Set that cover aside.
Removing the Bumper
Now, remove the bolts holding the upper portion of the bumper on and repeat for the other side. With the vehicle raised, proceed to remove the plastic push pins securing the bumper to the bottom portion of the body.
Next, remove the bolts inside the bumper, followed by the foam impact pad and the support bracket. Once the lamp assembly is out, twist the bulb units themselves and remove the capsule. Then, take your bulbs, put those in, twist them in, and press in the harness tab. Line it up and start getting it installed.
After the assembly is lined up, put a bolt in up top just to hold it in place. Proceed to install the lower mounting bracket, ensuring everything is snug in place and repeat for the other side. Reinstall the foam impact pad, and line up the bumper to fit underneath the light. Once in place, install the upper bumper bolts and repeat for the other side.
Reinstalling the Components
Install the push pins across the front, slide the upper cover up and over the latch, and flex it down up underneath. Pop in the panel and continue right across the front. Finish by installing the fender push pins.
Aligning the Headlamp Assemblies
After the reinstallation, it’s necessary to align the brand new TRQ headlamp assemblies. Mark the access points, measure from the level ground up to these points, and position the vehicle correctly in front of a wall for adjustment. Adjust the headlamp beams using the adjustment screws on the backside of the headlamp assembly.
Adjusting the Fog Lamps
Once the headlamps are properly adjusted, it’s time to align the fog lamps. If the fog lamps have an adjuster, you would just turn the adjustment to the left or right to adjust the beam up and down to where it needs to be.
Now, with your TRQ headlamps and fog lamps properly aligned, you can drive down the road safely.

Line the assembly back up and start getting it installed. Install the bolts to hold the lamp in place and then get the lower mounting bracket installed. Once the bracket is installed, reinstall the impact pad and the support bracket.
