Step-by-Step Guide: 2015 Nissan Altima Headlight Bulb Replacement

Hello everyone and welcome to the channel. Thank you for coming through. Dark Radar here coming at you with a tutorial on how to replace the headlight bulb on the 2014 Nissan Ultima. Let’s get into it.

When replacing the headlight bulbs in cars, you typically open the hood and go from there. In certain cases though, it can be easier to get to the bulb by going under the wheel well. The 2014 Nissan Altima is one of those certain cases.

All you’re going to need for this simple task is a flathead screwdriver and some patience.

First, turn the wheel all the way to the left for clearance. Next, locate the push tabs that hold the splash guard molding under the wheel well in place. There should be a couple of them. Now take the flathead screwdriver and use it to loosen the tabs.

Try and be careful as these push tabs are plastic and can break fairly easily. If you need to, just tuck the splash guard molding behind the wheel.

Now that we are in view of the headlight bulb, you’re going to want to turn it counterclockwise. Now for some plug and play action, unclip it and proceed to fasten the new one in its place.

Start the car, turn on the lights, and test it out. You win, perfect! Put the bulb back in the headlight assembly, turn it clockwise, and fit the splash guard molding back under the wheel weld with the push tab. Job complete.

Thanks for staying all the way through the tutorial. I hope it was helpful. Stay tuned for future content, more tutorials, as well as review videos.

This is Dark Radar productions. Peace.
